Bending Metal:

You may not realize how much you're into industrial design but you are. This is an amazing and relatively short documentary on its history and how it affects us. If you're like me it will make you want to buy a lathe...and regret not going to art school.

Time to step up kid

For the three of you who read this I'm going to be bowling in the Monster's Bowl-a-Rama at the end of the month. You can bowl with me and raise money for Rock Pink for a very reasonable donation. I kick ass at bowling so you have a shot a winning...seriously I'm the best bowler in this building hands down. And I promise not to show up hung over and toss my cookies in the bathroom like I did last year...promise.

Here's the link to the ebay site where you can bid. Otherwise you may hurt my feelings and I may not want to post anymore informative yet witty entries.
Apologize for the crappy metal music.

I kind of hate Las Vegas

Because it's one of the worst places on earth but I would put up with it for this one, musically perfect weekend.

But it's sold out so I'm going here instead:

Yup that's me.

Old school RR people remember Doc from The Drew Show. Well he got smart and jumped ship a while back to join EA and now he's a game developer. Anyway Doc got me the PA announcer gig for this game so you'll hear me in various states of either exuberance or dismay depending on how the home team is doing.

Then I took the money they paid me and blew it here:

POS RECORD OF THE WEEK #2

That's right Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine fame and somebody named Boots have covered Paper Planes but not in a one off "we're doing a live show at the Whiskey and want to seem relevant to our aging Gen X fans". No, they actually took time to record this stilted, robotic and anything but personal take on M.I.A's signiture jam and are putting it out under the awful name Stree Sweeper Social Club. You've ruined alliteration for generations to come...Thanks guys.

BP'S MESS IS COMING HOME TO THEM.

Intel's Rio Rancho Super Computer (3,500 quad core) predicts the pattern of BP's toxic under sea cloud and it's coming home to mamma. But not before wiping out the eastern seaboard.
