Man with Down Syndrome Fulfills Dream of Singing National Anthem for Red Sox


This is Michael Mullins. This 38-year-old die-hard Red Sox fan has had a life-long dream of singing the National Anthem at Fenway Park for his beloved baseball team and now he has finally accomplished that dream with the help of the Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center.

Mullins has Down Syndrome and has been singing The Star-Spangled Banner for minor league games for the past 10 years, so when his moment finally came to sing the National Anthem for the Red Sox he displayed strong confidence. "Nope, I'm not nervous. Piece of cake."
