Daughter's Facebook Post Costs Father $80,000

Patrick Snay, the former headmaster at Gulliver Preparatory School, won $80,000 in a discrimination suit against the school, but a snarky Facebook post by his daughter cost him the winnings. The judge of the case tossed the lawsuit out after the daughter, Dana Snay, posted a day after the settlement:

“Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”


The posting violated the terms of the settlement, and now they have nothing. Way to go, Dana, ya blew it.
