At a DeBary Convenience Store was a 6 pound baby whom was wrapped in Newspaper. Ralph Garlick Jr. told the Volusia County Deputy sheriff that had found a baby crying and wrapped in newspaper at 2am off of the US Highway 17-92. Originally Ralph Garlick Jr. first used his dead brother's name. The mother of the baby was Garlick's 34 year old girlfriend. Florida is currently one of 34 states where infants that are younger than 7 days can be relinquished to a safe-heaven which could be either a hospital or a fire station. The baby was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando and is safe.
